S&D began as a simple paviors company. The firm has developed successfully over the years and now provides both commercial and residential customers with a professional and reliable home improvement service. With our expertise S&D provide a full service home improvement program including conversions, extensions, developments and accessibility projects.
S&D offer a variety of adjustable extensions to your property. They can be designed one or two storeys high and positioned to the rear or side of the building. Traditionally adding an extension to your home allowed more space for a growing family, now homeowners are choosing this option to add value to their homes.

Extension about a year old and roof has been leaking for months with little to no response from S&D. Have to constantly chase for a response to a range of issues from getting build completed, getting updated paperwork to council, getting them to acknowledge snagging issues, fix cracks in walls and now leaky roof. They are not the cheapest builder about and ongoing issues are getting ridiculous - beginning to wish we never engaged them.
Latest update: Roofer has now been out a few times and we hope the leak has been fixed.

Cowboy builders. We contracted them to enlarge a window for us. I now realise that they knowingly gave poor advice which allowed them to refuse to take responsibility when the window which was supplied was faulty, and then they installed it incorrectly. They put nothing in writing and refused to accept responsibility for any part in this botched job. In the end we paid another builder to re-do the work. I wouldn’t touch them with a bargepole.

New driveway - so delighted with results. Took me a long time to decide on layout - team from S and D offered a lot of advice along the way and we are so glad we went with advice given as driveway looks amazing. I was very indecisive but never felt pressured to make a decision and appreciated their patience. Staff always very professional and friendly. Lots of neighbours have admired

Thank you to all your S&D team for our new kitchen extension and new fully fitted kitchen. You have all been a pleasure to deal with. Nothing was a bother (even when I changed my mind over kitchen work tops...sorry again!). Your guys were all so polite and tidy to boot! The women in your office were so helpful and lovely to talk to. Hubby is also delighted as I am now spending more time in my beautiful kitchen so he gets the TV in peace haha! We are so grateful to S&D :) x

Brilliant company and can't recommend them highly enough. Right from the start to the end of the project they were amazing. Great customer service and always in touch to let us know what was happening and when. Guys that did the job were polite, hard working and can't fault them. What a transformation in our back garden that turned out much better than we thought. Can't thank everyone at S&D enough.

I have to say that after my neighbour raved on about this company's service whilst building a new kitchen extension and new type windows throughout, I had a bit of a look. Both him and his wife were well pleased with the entire service from beginning to end.
Thats' where the mistake started.
My wife became interested in something similar especially as we are to retire shortly. She blethered with my neighbour's wife, I stupidly got S&D in for a chat and suggested prices. I told the wife.

From start to finish S&D were helpful and friendly. The guy who came out, give me all the options for different Driveways, as I did not have a large budget he went over what I could do to cut my costs. I was offered a seasonal discount if I got my Driveway done within a certain time, which was great!
The quote was free and came 2 days after the visit by email.
I found S&D workers very hard working and helpful and when my job was finished they cleaned up everything.

BEWARE! I was pressurised by salesman Kai Mehmet and Driveway Foreman Paul Curran to pay CASH for a driveway and deposit for a conservatory as it was "company policy'". When I expressed my concern about the cash issue each of them on separate occasions even offered to accompany me to the bank. How stupid was I? I should have gone with my instincts and put a halt to the whole proceedings there and then.
