We needed to undertake some important renovation work, and we wanted to ensure that any work undertaken would be of a very high standard with the use of both authentic and high quality fixtures and fittings. McDaniel Woolf were thoroughly professional with their analysis and recommendations, the generation of detailed plans and drawings, and the thorough specifications that were created for key contractors. Their attention to detail and meticulous inspections ensured that a great outcome was achieved all round.

Stay away from these architects. They had no problem pocketing 3 grand off an ill family member. Without doing the work over lockdown as promised, now the greedy Fiona and Richard are demanding more yet again.

Completely serious. Anyone that would work with these people is out of their mind. What they do is they ignore the council on purpose, so that they can get more money redesigning the plans. I also saw Richard harassing a homeless man on my way home the other day. These two are completely up themselves.

Incredibly bad service. They came highly recommended from multiple people but was unpleasantly surprised when they took our money for work they hadn't done. This seems to be a theme!

I just wanted to share my experience over lockdown with these clearly struggling architects. They resorted to scamming when they knew they weren't capable of doing a job. These architects lack honesty, they'd sell you down the river for a few bob.

As well as being a great designer, Fiona is also very knowledgeable and experienced with the planning process. We were able to get permission for more than I thought possible and we are delighted with the results.

I cannot recommend Richard and Fiona highly enough. They quickly understood the challenges of a particularly complex build, worked hard to navigate their way through the competing demands of often contrary expectations and then generated some innovative ideas, using previously unconsidered materials. The result came in on budget and exceeded our expectations.

Fiona and Richard were great to work with. They were patient and responsive during the initial design stages, suggested some brilliant features, and introduced us to an excellent builder, and suppliers. They were very helpful when dealing with the inevitable issues that arise during a renovation, and our project was completed on time. We’ve ended up with a wonderful extension and loft conversion with character and plenty of light, as well as a fully renovated house, which we will enjoy living in for many years.
