D&S Electrical services was formed by approved electricians Steven Nicholson and David Taylor who are both apprentice trained and have over 20 years of experience in the trade. Both carrying out apprenticeships at a local electrical contractor then working for a nationwide M & E company working on multi-million pound projects.
They have a very varied and wide experience in the trade covering domestic, commercial and industrial sectors. We are a registered NICEIC company - all work carried out in accordance with BS7671 18th edition wiring regulations. Everything from lighting, sockets through to full house rewires - we cover all aspects of domestic electrical work.
We offer commercial customers anything from new installs to maintenance packages and restoration projects. Our industrial services include fire alarm installation & testing, external lighting and plant rooms, plus much more.

Established in 2011, D&S Electrical Services carry out installation, maintenance and testing for domestic, commercial and industrial customers from a simple replacement lamp to larger commercial and industrial projects. All our customers get the same care and attention. We are an NICEIC approved contractor and a registered member of Construction line so a quality job is guaranteed.
D&S Electrical Services is a registered NICEIC Domestic Installer. All our work is carried out to the current building regulations and wiring done in accordance with BS7671 18th edition wiring regulations. We offer a huge range of domestic electrical services within the York area. We are also more than happy to provide you with a free quote for any electrical work you may need carrying out.
