Services
Walnut cluster credenza cabinet. The client decided to have the book matched walnut cluster veneered exterior bleached and finished in a matt lacquer. It gives an effect that is far more subtle than the naturally darker colour the walnut would have been. Hand carved linenfold makes a room feel like it's part of history.
There are so many furniture styles to choose from and so many possible combinations of materials, colours and finishes. It helps the process of explaining what you are looking for if you can put together a mood board. A collection of photos from apps like Pinterest or Instagram. It's an easy way to help get ideas across and gives us a good start towards getting the design right.
I have almost thirty years of experience in cabinet making using traditional and modern woodworking techniques. It started as an obsessive hobby in 1990 making the furniture I wanted but couldn't find or couldn't afford. After 8 years of my selfish furniture making I felt it was time for a change. I went back to school to fill a few skills gaps before starting Sam Brown Furniture in 2000.
