I chose BWC because it is a family-run firm and has a good reputation. There are certainly many happy customers that have posted reviews here. But my experience started to change once I had problems with the Evolution windows they installed in 2016 and 2018, sold to me as a 'premium product' and specifically claimed 'to last longer than cheaper versions' in their marketing literature.
At first BWC were very helpful, and would attend for site visits to remediate problems under the guarantee. But more fundamentally when these issues start to occur even before final payment has been made, callouts

I can't recommend this company enough. Really friendly and helpful when we were deciding what to have and not at all pushy. The service once we went head with new windows and front door was second to none. Great communication and friendly, knowledgeable staff who go above and beyond to make sure everything is a straight forward as possible. We are so happy with the work they have done; we wouldn't use any other window company.

Horrible company. Regarding a 4 panel bifold door install, ordered wrong size glass, sent ?unqualified engineer working without care or attention damaging all glass and frames, leaving a 5mm gap over two panels, didn't seal frame allowing water underneath causing mouldy grouting. Invited Managing Director round for his opinion, rather than engage with us, he chose to talk over us and berate us for having dust on the doors. Multiple visits over 9 months,15 panes of glass were required for a scratch free finish, each visit the 5mm gap was left with a handle too stiff to lock. The wood grain effect
