The business was first started by Keith Ford in 1970. Keith, a fully qualified joiner, soon established a reputation for building quality homes throughout Cheshire. Keith continued building homes of quality in the area until 1990 when the business was taken over by his son David, who until then had been working alongside him.
After taking over, David developed the family business and formed it as Cranage Construction. Since 1990 David Ford has built up the company from being a sole trader to a full service team which continues to establish a reputation for quality building throughout Cheshire and the North West. Today's workforce of time served tradesmen possess all the individual skills required for every type of building work.
Cranage Construction now provide a comprehensive service specialising in building refurbishment and barn conversions as well as bespoke new build homes. Our full time team includes joinery and masonry craftsmen, in addition to a full complement of tradesmen, and by employing our own team, we can be sure our build quality is maintained.
