What a waste of time. The complication of having to restore a filled-in top light window (see the photo) proved to be an insurmountable engineering obstacle with Affix. They don't do this work themselves, and refer you to their sister company, Hennessy. When reached, Hennessy never got to the site, gave me a silly quote assuming an implausible worst-case scenario, and then dropped off altogether, saying that they were not taking on new work. Finally, I found a builder able to work around Affix's requirements, and booked a site visit with Affix, to get those requirements on paper. The visit

We had the whole house refitted with windows and doors. The workmen were very friendly, hardworking and explained in details on all aspects of work done. Tidy up after installation and took away all the mess etc. Did a great job and I would highly recommend Affix Windows and doors Ltd. who also gave us a personal touch.

We have had a new Solidor fitted from the kitchen to the conservatory. This is the 3rd door we have had fitted this year and also had a front door fitted a few years back. Having had our windows fitted by Affix we were always going to use this company because of the professionalism of their team but also the first class quality of their products and the personal attention you receive at all stages. I am not one to write many reviews you have to go the extra mile to get one but this company does on all levels and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thanks to Mark and his team

We had 9 new windows fitted. No hard sell often associated with windows, and we went with them as the quote was most competitive out of the 3 we had. The wait time for the windows was as informed, and the job was carried out to our satisfaction over 2 days. One of the frames was cracked upon delivery but this was pointed out to me (I doubt if I’d have noticed) and a replacement was ordered and changed within a week. So, on the whole, Affix for us was a good experience.

I moved into a doer-upper and used Affix to replace my windows.
Everything went smoothly from start to finish.
Mark came round to quote and was a really nice man, not pushy whatsoever and gave me good advice.
I went into the showroom to see the windows and choose the handles/obscured glass pattern and everyone I met was lovely.
When the fitters came they were really nice guys and very clean and tidy.
The difference the new windows have made is brilliant. As well as making the house look more modern, the reduction in noise has been astounding.
I have recommended Affix to 2 friends already
