Prostrip has over 20 years experience in surface preparation techniques and is now one of the UK's leading thermal and chemical paint stripping companies. We offer our services to a wide range of industries from large manufacturers who require high volumes processed to 'just in time' schedules or smaller companies such as trade coaters.
Prostrip automotive restoration specialise in removing paint, rust and other contaminants from all types of vehicles and substrates involving steel and aluminium, ranging from classic cars to vintage motorcycles. Our vast in house facility ensures we have the correct and most cost effective process to suit your application.
The vehicle is checked all over to determine ferrous or non-ferrous materials, (any non-ferrous parts such as aluminium or titanium are removed and processed with a non-chlorinated chemical). All items are identified for traceability and a corresponding worksheet produced to meet our standards. Body shell loaded and secured on a protective frame for treatment.
Following the stripping process, Prostrip can prime complete body shells and smaller items. This primer treatment with its high zinc content offers superior long term protection. After the application stage the coating is oven cured, the body shell & panels are now protected with a tough impregnable layer.

Absolutely phenomenal service from this company, I gave them an old rotton 4x4 chassis and what they have done has left me speechless, I honestly couldn't be happier with the turnout, I would highly recommend Prostrip Ltd to anybody needing anything stripped and derusted, when others tell you it's impossible give prostrip a ring to prove them wrong! Amazing customer service from Kris! Having been let down by another co, I tried these guys, thinking they'd be expensive as they have a few branches. They were cheaper than the first company and did an excellent job of stripping my door on the same day. Super impressed! I got a text to tell me it was ready to collect.
