Being established since 1998 in the Southampton area, we are fully qualified to carry out all electrical services including electrical repairs and installations to the highest standards. We are NICEIC approved and compliant to BS7671 official standards. Customers are provided with the necessary test certificates in accordance with the installation.
Our 24/7 Electrical Call Out service guarantees that we will be on site within 48 hours of your call, within a 20 mile radius of our Head Office in Warsash, Southampton. Our fully qualified team of emergency electricians are available 24 hours a day, 365 day a year for all commercial, industrial and domestic emergency electrical work.
Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) are important as the inspection and testing of the fixed wired system ensures that it continues to function correctly and safely. Fixed wire testing only covers testing up to the point of isolation of the equipment and is normally carried out ever 5 years.
Private street lighting and unadopted street lighting is a speciality for T Darby Electrical, based in Warsash, Southampton and covering Hampshire and the South Coast. I luckily came across Tim’s page a couple of weeks ago after dealing with another electric company that turned out to be a total rip off.
Tim managed to fit me in as we were selling a house and needed an EICR done, he also arranged for the work to be completed the same day.

We live on a private road and after struggling to get quotes/sensible quotes for a faulty street light, I luckily found T Darby. Rewiring for a kitchen upgrade, extending outside power to sheds, investigating defective LED tape lights and sorting, replacing failed downlighters, replacing defective extractor fan in bathroom, all part of the service provided for us by Tim and his boys over the last 8 years. Two men spent 5hrs trying to fix our electrical gates. We were then charged a 5hr diagnostic invoice aswell as given a huge quote for a new part.
I spoke to Tim directly as I was not happy with what happened that day.
I decided to go elsewhere and I got the gates fixed for a fraction of the price & the expensive part that they said needed to be replaced worked fine!!

Looking for a new electric boiler for our flat, I tried a few bigger companies and they couldn't help. T Darby Electrical were the only one who gave an immediate and exact quote, communicated promptly and did a perfect job, with our new boiler running from the minute they said it would.
