Hunters was started 90 years ago by the two Hunter brothers in the same premises that we occupy today. Since 1928 we have been specialists in luxurious furniture and accessories. Large building with a wide selection of home furniture for most rooms in your home, even the kitchen. We went to look for a specific large sofa, turned out to be too large, but it was great to see the range of sofas, units, kitchens even Agas ovens that were on display.
Staff made themselves available but not hovering around you constantly which I like.

I ordered a chair and footstool in March and was told it would be delivered in early July. Here we are at end of August and I've just heard it will be delivered on 10th September. Company telling me that they gave it to delivery company on 20th July but the delivery company just told me that they received it yesterday. I wonder how this company got such a high rating. Extremely unimpressed. Jonathan, the shop manager told me he would copy his boss.in to an email he sent to chase this up......again, at the weekend past but I received a follow up call from a salesman on Monday late afternoon. I guess

Ordered a chair online from hunters, I was given an estimated delivery date by e-mail of 1st to 3rd of August. I called them shortly after as I was due on leave around that time and they assured me that they'd give me a call once the furniture reached their warehouse for delivery and that they'd then confirm a delivery date and if there were any issues we'd be able to discuss options.
I was a very happy customer. Great service, they'd recognised the possible challenges I'd face and found an easy solution all good.
So time rolled past, we got to three weeks after the estimated delivery date and

Following a nightmare experience with a different furniture store, we decided to try Hunters. How glad we are that we did. They have an excellent choice of quality suites to suit all tastes and Mike could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He has restored our faith in getting an excellent service. I would recommend Hunters to everyone and am doing !!

I work in Derby and walked in to enquire about some Romo fabric cushions that were displayed out on a sofa that had no price on them, to be told pop back later or tomorrow and we will have a price on them. So I popped back in 2 weeks later as I was on annual leave from work and still no price, I asked an assistant who couldn’t of been less interested in my request he also told me to come back as he doesn’t know the price of them, he was rude and very unhelpful, whilst I appreciate it’s not a big sale at around £150 for 2 cushions I still expect a better quality of service than what I received
