English Construction is a Shrewsbury based company involved in domestic and commercial building work, ranging from new house builds through to large extensions on commercial properties and are specialists in the Care Home sector. We have undertaken projects ranging from minor works to contracts in excess of one million pounds in the Midlands and in the South East and welcome enquiries from anywhere in the UK.

English Construction have been designing and building houses, commercial premises, care homes and extensions since 2002. With a staff consisting of 25 people including two directors and two foremen and our ability to bring in fully experienced sub contractors, plant and machinery, we are more than capable of undertaking any form of build and of handling a number of schemes at the same time.
Woodland is a Care Home for the Elderly situated in Oswestry, Shropshire. When we were contacted by them, they had 20 rooms and were looking to extend. In 2008, we completed the extension, providing an additional 17 en-suite bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an extended lounge. The owner of the home had already obtained planning permission for the extension to the home, but we had to finalise the design and provide full building regulation drawings.
