Bought Origin Windows with 20 years guarantee. Was told there is a tag in all 12 windows with a serial number which is then used to track my installation in case there are any issues in the future, for example, the installer closing shop. None of my windows has this tag and Origin won't confirm I have Origin windows. All branded companies are more than happy to do this and are grateful we purchase their products. Not Origin Global. Hopeless!

As per other reviews, the installers do play a big part in the installation of these products. We're happy with the windows (product) however, the doors (especially the main entrance door) are where the problems appear to be. Our main residential door has leaked since it was fitted - despite being refitted 3 times by Origin themselves. Door handles have been replaced twice and have just broken again. Door latch keeps moving and keeps needing to be adjusted.

I can't recommend the Origin products enough. I have 6 windows plus their 6 pane OB49 bifold. I did lots of research when selecting which installer I wanted to use. I can see from the quality of the fenestration that I have made the right choice with Origin. I did see other reviews, but I totally disagree where quality is concerned. You can SEE/FEEL the quality of these frames before they were even installed. I found my installer through the approved ones on the Origin website. I could choose from 3 approved/accredited installers within my area. Even so, I still did my own research on each individual

I purchased origin Windows and bi-fold doors at great expense. The frames leak, the doors don't fold back. Light can be seen through the frames. Service is appalling, installation was shoddy. The installer blames Origin and visa versa. So not buy from Basfords, totally incompetent, don't order parts, turn up for 2 hours and go. I have an unfinished project, no guarantee and no one to fix it. DO NOT YSE.

Disappointed. We have 18 Origin windows and doors including Bi-folds. Many thousands of pounds worth. They look the part. However, the warranty is only as good as the installer you use. In our experience, the trader did a great installation but does not want to do any remedial work. We’ve had issues with a door lock that jams in winter when the sun shines on it. We have 2 window hinges that were too flimsy and ripped off in light breezes (now repaired) and bodged with restrictor hooks to prevent it from inevitably recurring and a window lock that fell out. Origin only want to push this back on
