Just had replacement laminate flooring in our Lounge and cushion flooring in the Kitchen from DC&F and it looks Great! Good range of options in the shop and was useful to be able to take a number of the books home to check colours in the actual rooms.The fitters were excellent especially replacing the skirting boards and making good where filling was required. Didnt cost the earth either. Highly recommended.

AVOID at all costs.
Paid top price for a good product but seriously let down by James - who was initially pleasant but quickly became avoidant, unforgivably poor at communicating, which was actually just plain old rude.
Floor a long way off perfect, given the cost.
Floor not finished and had to pay for someone else to complete the job.
Joiner ALWAYS late - by several hours and on one occasion, I was left waiting, waiting, waiting and he just didn’t turn up. I called and emailed several times, no answer or response.
I need to get newly fitted skirting board altered as replaced in such a way

Having had a floor fitted by this company 4yrs ago it has developed problems. After several attempts at making contact we did finally get hold of the owner James who visited us and said he would sort the problems out. We then made an appointment for his 'best fitter' to come over at the beginning of November. This appointment was cancelled by email as the fitter had called in sick; fair enough so I asked for them to suggest another appointment date. No response. I then waited 11 days before sending a reminder. Still no response now three weeks later. Clearly they're hoping I'll go away. I leave

Showing up to take measurements in our home, never bothered calling to rearrange or explain why even though THEY MADE THE APPOINTMENT, absolutely disgraceful behaviour from a supposedly professional

I’m a member of Duffield Squash and Tennis Club, this firm has just installed new flooring in our gym. The new rubber matting area for the weights section is way better than what we had before and the rest of the flooring also looks great. It’s such an improvement on what we had before and speaking to the guys at the club who arranged all the works it sounds like the fitters were friendly and helpful throughout. It may even make me more inclined to visit the gym a bit more often than before!!!

Derbyshire Carpet and Flooring Company laid a beautiful Amtico floor in our tricky L-shaped bathroom and it absolutely enhances the modest space. They also helped with choosing a practical carpet for the stairs and landing and have great follow-up service (rescuing a stair step from an accidental spill). Thoroughly recommend them and will be using them again.

First they didn't ring us back after we initially went in, but they said the number was taken down wrong. Fair enough mistakes happen. Appointment for someone to come out to measure was made.... no one showed up! No communication from them to explain why. It's a pity because they do have some nice carpets. But customer service was lacking on a basic level on this occasion.
In response to the response given. Given that it was only females in that day, a young man almost certainly wouldn't have answered the door. No card was left at our property. Clearly the address was taken down wrong as well

Fantastic service and products from an amazing company.
The estimator was on time and made some great suggestions for what would fit in the room, this gave us confidence to move forward with the flooring. Nathan the fitter was professional and completed the job in a timely manner. Will definitely be using them again 5 stars all the way.

I would strongly recommend James and his team at The Derbyshire Carpet & Flooring Company.
I was looking for a carpet with specific requirements for our nursery. James was able to suggest a range of carpet that not only met those requirements, importantly it fell within my budget too.
Right from the beginning, the personal attention I received was in stark contrast to that of the national chains.
This great service carried through to the fitting. The team did a great job, and the finished job looks and feels fantastic.
