Services
Following discussions with the architect we were called in and given the job of restoring the floor below to its original glory. Four days later and the floor has been finished with Junckers Baseprime and 3 coats of Junckers HP Commercial lacquer. On this occasion we finished it with one coat of Junckers Baseprime and 3 coats of Buzz Duo, (by Blanchon), another 2-pack polyurethane floor lacquer.
The first is to mix the sanding sawdust with resin to form a paste and trowel apply it across the floor prior to the final sanding. This method is best suited for filling small gaps, < 3mm, in parquet and block flooring. It is a product which is brittle when dry and therefore prone to crack and pop out when used to fill large gaps between strip floorboards.

Douglas has done an amazing job of sanding and oiling our oak floors. We are delighted with the result. The quality of his work is first class. Douglas sanded and varnished around 100m2 mix of parquet and pine flooring for us. He was very responsive to the initial call and we received a written quote shortly after. His price was reasonable. The quality of his work is top-notch. He brought life to our flooring and it now looks like brand new. He went above and beyond what we have agreed without an extra charge and conducted some repairs we did not foresee initially.
