Our move was from Welton to Yorkshire What a fabulous group of guys. Nothing was too much trouble. They planned our two day move around my very elderly father. His up down chair (in which he spends his time) was last in and first off. Everything was packed beautifully and they never stopped working both in Welton and after a very speedily arrival outside my dad's new home. Pricewise they were extremely competitive. My only regret is that we will be moving again in a few months time within Yorkshire and they are too far away to use again.

Just used Barnes for our move from Lincoln to Farnborough. An excellent firm to do business with. From the the estimate to the move, including packing, everything was carried out in a stress free manner for us. The guys who did the job were all friendly, efficient and punctual, in spite of the atrocious weather they had to put up with. And the price was very reasonable for the job they had to do.

Absolutely woeful. Told last Thursday I could move on Friday/ Sat 31st May/1st June , there was a vehicle available and that someone would get back with the price later that day. No one did. Phoned and told someone would get back to me on Friday. No one did. Phoned and they said they'd get back to me on Monday. Pail has just phoned to say they now can't do the date offered as don't have a vehicle. Have dealt many times with Julian Barnes at this company. Would never move with them again. Very, very poor service.
