We are delighted with the final result of the major renovation of our stone house in Utkinton, Tarporley.
We now have an insulated home with the ground floor entirely on one level, underfloor heating on both floors, two beautiful individually styled bathrooms and a nice big kitchen.
The original sandstone has been repointed and cleaned, a new patio has been laid and an extensive new drive tarmaced.
All the team members, of whom we met many over the nine months of the project, were professional, skilled, good communicators, and prepared to incorporate our ideas into the final styling of the finishing

Hough Construction were involved from design stage right through to completion. Their quote was by far the most professional with everything itemised so it was easy to follow & adjust, if necessary, prior to agreeing the contract. Pat has a fantastic team - all top lads and Andy the site foreman is always at the end of the phone with nothing being too much trouble. It would be difficult to single any one out as they're all so good at what they do. The weather was kind so the work went to schedule and I'm absolutely delighted with the finished result.

Hough Construction has made our house extension a really positive experience, from the hand-written letter of introduction we received with the initial quote, to the constructive meetings and conversations about every stage of the process and to the extremely high standard of the work itself. We are absolutely delighted with the end result. Every member of the team has been friendly and professional and they have made every effort to keep disturbance to a minimum, keeping us informed, limiting noise and cleaning up thoroughly at the end of every day. Patrick and his team were exceptional. They talked us through the whole process, helping with design ideas and pointing us in the right direction.
When it came to the actual build we were impressed with how professional the team were and how punctual and polite they all were.
We are now living in our wonderful new home on time and in budget.

Excellent project managed service with high quality of build - Patrick's standards are very high. The team are knowledgable, friendly and all snags (the few there were) sorted in a timely manner.
The greater challenge is securing the services of this busy and trustworthy team and then ensuring, as a client, you're on top of the decisions.

Hough Construction carried out a significant renovation and extension of our bungalow earlier this year and we are delighted with the result. There was clear communication during the build on progress and costs. The team were very approachable, responded to all our questions and offered lots of support to assist us in making decisions. The quality of finish has been superb and the build finished exactly on time. We are very pleased with our finished home and would highly recommend Hough Construction.

Patrick and his team at Hough Construction are a fantastic firm to trust your home improvement / home construction project with. My partner and I engaged with Hough after receiving a few tenders for a large double storey rear and single storey side extension. Their tender was detailed and thought out and gave good consideration to finish quality as well as aligning to our budget. Throughout the Build, Patrick and his team were excellent... keeping us engaged on progress and seeking decisions from us promptly when needed - we felt in control and proceedings were relatively stress free. I can not give this company a higher recommendation!
After moving to a new area, with no contacts and no clue as to which companies were good and which were not, we foolishly used a different company to instal our new kitchen... I could have done a better job myself! Thus I had second thoughts about every building company in the area. Until I met Patrick. An honest, well turned out and thorough builder. He gave me a quote inside the time limit he stated and personally worked with me on getting exactly the build I wanted and in a cost that I felt comfortable. His team were on time EVERY morning
