Cheshire Joinery Building are currently doing major extension work for me and I cannot relate my experience to the previous review. Maybe there has been a confusion of company names and also it seems to be based on heresay.
I am halfway through major extension works and have found Mark and his team to be most professional and taking great care ( as an example it took quite some effort to find a BT cable, but it was eventually found and foundations were laid to protect it ). His future bookings reflect this good experience.

They are fantastic guys who go above and beyond to ensure that the finish is what you want. Very professional, always on time, excellent workmanship, clean up after themselves and honest, what they quote is what you get, unless you otherwise agree a change together.
They built an extension and utility room 12 months ago and they are fantastic. I would recommend them to anyone 11 out of 10!!!!!

Mark and his team recently completed a renovation of a my bungalow. Walls were knocked down , openings created, every wall and ceiling replastered ( due to artex) , new windows and doors, new en-suite and cloakroom among many of the jobs that were done. The work took around 10 weeks and throughout, Mark and his team were extremely professional. I have no hesitation in recommending Cheshire Joinery and Building.

People say he didn’t get a build over agreement from utility company, drains cracked and blocked with builder’s waste. I am told pristine driveway unusually “ self-cracked” when leaving the job, maybe worked on land without agreement according to owner. Some say ignored much normal protocol for building work. Delivered a solid if not beautiful result, reminiscent of the “ brutalist” architectural style of the 1950s which will last for years. Will probably get the job done regardless, if that’s your thing. Had quite a lot of work done by Mark and his team now, including new kitchen and solid wood oak floors. He offered valued opinions on how to complete the jobs and the workmanship was superb. A very professional job completed by a company who will treat your project as if it was on their own house. Can highly recommend!
