Services
At Meridian Box Sash Windows we specialize in the production and installation of Timber Double Glazed and single glazed box sash windows, wooden casement windows and hardwood doors. We also undertake all wooden sash windows refurbishment and original Wood sash window reinstatement work. Our double glazed window units can achieve a substantial noise reduction for your property.
We always come to your home for a free site survey and this is always carried out by Louis Brett, the owner of Meridian Windows and he will always be on site to carry out this work. Draughts can be a major source of discomfort in older buildings which often results in the heating being turned up or run for longer.
Your windows need to be fully serviced. They need to be dismantled, eased, adjusted, re-aligned, re-corded and re-assembled, and have a brush pile draught sealing system installed. Not only will this improve their smooth movement, it will also guard against rattling and draughts. Both top and bottom sashes are designed to slide up and down the whole length of the box frame.

We had some new hardwood double glazed sash windows made and fitted by Louis to replace our old draughty rotting sashes. Louis was very professional from initial quote to the day of fitting. Louis and Adam were prompt on the day and not only did an amazing job fitting the new sashes but also cleaned up really well. The windows are an absolute joy! No more windows dripping in condensation and much quieter and warmer. Just need to save up to get the rest of the house done! Highly recommended.

Meridian Box Sash Windows is by far the most unprofessional and unreliable company I have ever dealt with. Three times over a 10 week period, I spoke to them regarding a quotation for window refurbishment and I was let down every time. They never once showed up and never replied to my emails or text messages. A complete waste of my time. I wouldn't recommend this company to anybody

About two years ago, Meridian Sash replaced our old single pane windows with double glazed sash versions (filled with argon gas and with draft proofing). The new units were created to fit the old frames, and to reflect the original design of the house.
They look fantastic, and perform extremely well. We've had only positive feedback from visitors and neighbours alike. And, the house now performs much better in terms of energy costs for heating.

Louis and Adam did an incredible job in replacing our 3 plastic windows with beautiful double glazed wooden ones. They also replaced a huge bay window at the front of our house. The workmanship is so good you'd think they were the original Victorian ones restored and they look fantastic. They always turned up on time, always friendly and polite, cleaned up before they went for the day and completed the job in the time specified. Which was very quickly! They made good any damage to plaster etc and wouldn't leave til they were completely happy with the job themselves. Price was very reasonable too
