We can also offer a full Design and Build solution to a client's build, using selected contractors who have been approved by FmK for high workmanship levels and trained in our advanced Low Energy construction details.

All FmK dwellings are designed specifically for each site and each dwelling is individually unique with a bespoke design for all of our clients. The end result of this; is a "one-off" design that will not be replicated on any other site. Our clients are involved throughout the process; from the inception to the completion, to ensure we deliver their dream house.
Applying for Planning Permission in Northern Ireland: The Planning System provides society with a way of controlling how we use land, what we build and where we build it. The Department of The Environment prepares and adopts documents called development plans, consisting of maps and written policies, which show where and in what quantity various types of development will be permitted.
Build cost or budget is one of the most important items of a project. Ensuring a build comes in on budget is stressful, time consuming and sometimes unmanageable, especially by self-build clients.

FmK Architecture are specialist architects in passive house design, Eco Home design and nearly zero energy builds, based in Ballymena, Northern Ireland. Passivhaus or 'Passive House'/ eco home is the fastest growing energy performance standard in the world. The heating requirement in a Passivhaus is reduced so that a traditional central heating system is no longer required.
