Replacing your windows is a big decision and can be time consuming. Perfect Wood Works prides itself on making the process clear, simple and efficient. The replacement or reinstatement of traditional sash windows is one of our most requested products. Our craftsmen design and produce sash windows according to our client's individual requirements using sustainably sourced European Redwood pine or oak. The conventional sash window retains the simple elegance of the period while at the same time offers modern comforts such as double-glazing and sound/draught proofing.
Tilt and turn windows are typically found in kitchens and apartments where an inward opening window offers practical control over ventilation and cleaning while maintaining security. Using a dual hinge system, tilt and turn windows allow the casement to open into the room from the side or top. This is ideal in a modern home or flat where easy access and easy cleaning are priorities.
Our wooden front doors are extremely resilient and meet the British Insurers Approved standards. Our bespoke door designs range from traditional to modern and can include a variety of detail including handmade stain glass motifs and additional hardware. Pre-finished prior to arriving on site, our doors are available in a wide range of colours and stains; we can match to any RAL colour or Farrow & Ball or Fired Earth shade.

I used Perfect Wood Works to supply and fit a number of wooden sash windows at my Victorian house. The quality of the windows was excellent, they’re double glazed, very good products, much easier to open and close that the units being replaced. The window furniture included chrome lifts and lockable latches all very good quality aswell.
The team fitted the windows and made good in no time at all-they were all polite and their work was very tidy including using plastic sheeting to access the rooms.
