The architectural practice was established by Andrew Finlayson in 1998 and based in Comrie, Perthshire. We are a small practice and seek to offer a close and effective personal service to our clients. A good relationship with your architect is paramount for any project.
Andrew Finlayson, a member of The Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland, studied Architecture in Edinburgh and The United States then worked in various Architectural Practices in London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Oban, Perth and Comrie.Andrew's partner, Madeleine Davenport, an experienced plants woman, provides integrated Garden Design Services to clients where required.
The Client brings needs, aspirations, ideas, lifestyle, tastes etc to be made manifest and a budget to be realised. Specialist Consultants such as Engineers, Interior Designers, Quantity Surveyors, Landscape Designers, etc can contribute significantly to a design. Statutory Bodies (Local Authority Planners, Building Standards, etc) may play their part in shaping the project.
