The majority of our work is in Central and Greater London (in particular Kensington, Mayfair, Belgravia and Marylebone), although this extends to the Home Counties and South-East.

We offer a personal and bespoke service, providing our clients with expertise and value for money. We provide valuation advice on all aspects of residential properties for Banks and Building Societies, private individuals, companies / businesses and Housing Associations, and all our advice is prepared based on our extensive knowledge and experience of the market.

Our work includes Market Valuations (we are on the Panel of Valuers for several banks), lease extension / collective enfranchisement, Landlord & Tenant matters including expert witness advice and rent reviews. Our Professional Indemnity Insurance Cover is presently 5,000,000 on an each and every claim basis.

We specialise in residential valuation work relating to property in Prime Central London, Greater London, The Home Counties and South-East England.
Foster Slater have been providing a range of services within residential valuation since inception in 1992. The firm is happy to assist with any residential valuation matter in which we have experience. Below provides a summary of the most common services we offer, although is not an exhaustive list.
Since the company was formed in 1992, valuations of residential property for secured lending purposes have been central to the services we provide. Lending valuations are required for residential property by any company that offers a loan secured against a property, with the valuation being utilised in order to decide on the exact amount to be offered to the borrower.
Instructions are provided by a range of companies and individuals requiring Market Valuation advice to assist with tax liabilities for a number of reasons. The most regular purposes include Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and Annual Tax for Enveloped Dwellings, however we have provided valuations for other tax planning and purposes.
Foster Slater has been providing market valuation advice for shared ownership properties for over 10 years. The instructions are to provide a Market Value of the shared ownership property and can be for a range of purposes. Most commonly the market approach is used in order to find the Market Value.

Jonathan and Jonny acted for us in a lease extension with a particularly repugnant, well known commercial landlord and their service was great - they got a better outcome than we realistically expected at the start and their service was competitively priced.
