This popular style gives a rougher surface area, which is achieved by twisting the yarn an extra turn or two, yarns can be wool or synthetic. This carpet has a short pile and smooth top and is sometimes known as Velour. These carpets are generally made from wool or synthetic fibres and mainly in tufted and Wilton finishes.

STAY AWAY from this place, my mother was taken to hospital due to having sepsis and told she’s probably not going to live. My mother paid deposit for a carpet, which I cancelled the day she got rushed to hospital. I’ve been told deposit won’t be returned as the carpet has already been cut (when I know it hadn’t) they we’re waiting for more stock which is why it wasn’t fitted at an earlier date. If you don’t want to be ripped off then then stay away.

Nice company to deal with. They have an extensive range of carpets and flooring at their showroom, are very competitively priced and staff were extremely patient and helpful with us. Although on the day they were due to fit them they were running behind schedule, the quality of the work more than made up for the minor inconvenience. Will definitely be using them for all future flooring needs and would happily recommend them to others
