Gainsborough Carpets is an independent family business founded in 1966. We are leading members of the country's largest independent buying group (Greendale Carpets and Flooring) enabling us to enjoy all the benefits of a large organisation without losing our independent status. We are very proud of the relationships we have built with manufacturers and customers alike.
There are two basic types of wood flooring to choose from, solid or engineered. The "engineered" product has a surface of premium hardwood bonded to a laminated base. This construction counteracts wood's tendency to shrink and expand and makes it easier to lay. Solid products are available in planks, strips or parquet.

We specialize in the supply and installation of carpet, vinyl, safety flooring, woods and laminates, particularly in the commercial sector and undertake installations on a nationwide basis. As part of our service, we provide consultations, planning services, samples, estimating and measuring and installation of the highest quality flooring available.
Once you have decided upon the carpet you like you are well advised to have it professionally fitted. Before this you should obtain an estimate of the cost. An estimate is more accurate when we are able to visit the location to measure the area and assess the situation. Remember, the total cost of any job is what matters.

Had a karndean floor fitted years ago by Tim and co. So impressed with the result and service that went back to Gainsborough to have rest of the house fitted out. As expected another great service, thorough and attention to detail second to none. Always tidied up at end of each day and went out of their way to work around our busy household.

Thank you Gainsborough carpets, we cannot fault the service which was exemplary from start to finish Adam in the shop was friendly and professional and the fitters who carried out the work were amazing, the attention to detail and quality of the finished job was first class from Brad so nice to see people that deliver what they say they will, so often let down by the trades in the past, but not this time, so happy with the finished job and it looks amazing
