Treske is an independent family owned firm, proud of its reputation for excellence and its commitment to produce beautiful hardwood furniture to each clients' needs. The furniture our skilled craftsmen make here at our workshop in Thirsk, North Yorkshire, is lovingly made by hand to order and can be customised to your own individual requirements.
A tradition of furniture-making has endured in North Yorkshire and traditional craft skills have been kept alive. Only a few miles to the east of Thirsk the Hambleton Hills can be seen rising to the North York Moors and the same view is framed by the windows of the Victorian maltings in which Treske has its factory and showrooms.
The Artisan range of furniture is characterised by clean, flowing lines emphasised with subtle curves. The superb finish quality and variety of woods used makes this great solid hardwood furniture for your home, that will always be a joy to use. The variety of design from tables, chairs and sideboards, beds and shelving, gives a great choice of quaility furniture.
Our furniture workshops and kitchen showrooms, situated in a Victorian Maltings, have ample car parking and are located just off the A61 as it leaves Thirsk, signposted for Ripon, just beyond the racecourse and over the railway bridge. We are adjacent to Thirsk Railway station with good connections to York, Darlington and Northallerton, and further afield.

The craftsmanship was of the highest standard, with the design, production, and installation teams being a pleasure to work with. Our new kitchen project really has been a five star experience, from our initial visit to the lovely showroom/workshop at Carlton Minniott right through to the finished product. We have had excellent service and a great experience from the Treske team from start to finish. The designer took the time to really understand our needs, gave helpful advice and quickly produced computer based 3D drawings of fitted wardrobes, a media unit and a kitchen display cupboard. We then had the opportunity to modify these so we got exactly what we were looking for.
The two fitters were absolutely meticulous and took enormous care. The end result is that we now have a number of well designed, beautifully fitted pieces of fine furniture, at a cost that we believe is good value for money

Simply the best quality, craftsmanship, and design you will find. There are few companies who can design, manufacture and install completely bespoke furniture- whether it be a complete kitchen, bedroom or items such as tables and chairs. This company really understands how to craft wood, with and beautiful long lasting results- modern day artisans. We have a Treske kitchen and the whole process from design to manufacture was simply superb- 6 years on it still looks stunning.
