Ege Carpets was founded by Mads Eg Damgaard in 1938 in Herning, Denmark. In the years to come, the production took place in a small building with only one tufting loom. Mads Eg Damgaard was visionary. His philosophy was uncompromising: he used only the latest and most advanced technology in carpet production and he was not afraid to challenge convention.
For commercial projects with big design ambitions or large floor surfaces, a wall-to-wall carpet - also called a broadloom carpet - can be the ideal choice. When the design appears as one large pattern without physical joins and breaks, a very special look is achieved with a wall-to-wall carpet, as the carpet is fundamental in connecting the room's interior design elements.
