Had a new roof fitted under a year ago by Youngs Roofing and have spent the last 4 months trying to get hold of them to request that they fix their shoddy workmanship. There was heavy rain a couple of months ago that has damaged the ceiling in one of our bedrooms as there are multiple areas of the roof where water is penetrating through, including the flashing around the chimney. I spent thousands with Youngs and they evidently do not care about their customers once they have left. Multiple emails and text messages have been sent as well as over 6 phone calls, and continuously told that someone

I am writing this review on behalf of a friend who was a customer and who paid to have some roofing work completed at her home. The person she dealt with was both dismissive & slightly intimidating. Once the work was completed and the job paid for she soon noticed some roof tiles had fallen away and then rain came down into her home as a consequence. Unfortunately the leak damaged a room which had only recently been plastered and decorated. My friend tried to establish exactly when someone would return to see the damage and put the roof right; she was repeatedly assured someone would come, but

After being let down by two other roofing contractors I was recommended to speak to Tom by my letting agent to carry out repairs to two of my houses. A detailed written quote was emailed over and the work carried out to a high standard by skilled and time served tradesmen. I will use this company again and recommend them to others. I was really impressed with the entire experience of dealing with Youngs Roofing. Tom has been great and his employees on site are very courteous and reliable. My job was an entire re-roof - replacing tiles with reclaimed random slate. This is a very difficult task with a high degree of skill involved. The result has been fantastic - great workmanship. Very clean and tidy too. I would not hesitate to recommend.

After moving into my new home I needed my flat roof stripping and re doing. Tom provided a detailed and competitive quote for the works and had me booked in quickly.
