My central heating finally stopped working in mid January. I contacted Hicks Heating by phone from an advertisement I had seen and spoke straight away directly with Mr Hicks. Within 24 hours he was there, he gave me excellent advice (no sales talk) and returned within 5 days to install a new boiler, cylinder, full heating controlls and repipe all the radiators in the property.

James was incredible. It’s Christmas Eve and we lost our heating and hot water overnight. British Gas couldn’t/ wouldn’t send someone over for four days. We tried a few other local numbers and nobody could help us for days, but as soon as we called James he was friendly and so helpful. He was immediately available to talk us through some options on the phone after we sent some
photos and was so patient as we followed the steps he provided. Luckily we managed to sort the issue over the phone, but he was available to source and fit a new part for us on Christmas Eve if we’d needed that. He couldn’t have been more helpful. I’d recommend him to anyone.

Very pleased with the response I got from James
Phoned on the Wednesday about a leak, he came out that day,he repaired the leak the following day after getting the the part that was needed
He was even prepared to come out on Good Friday if he couldn’t get the part in time
He was very professional and polite, informed about everything he was doing
Highly recommend him

December 20th no hot water. Son contacted James at 7.30 by 8.30 James was at the house. We had already decided that a new boiler was going to be our best option. Friday December 23rd James arrived and fitted our we boiler. Work carried out efficiently. He came back after Christmas to ensure all was well only to walk into another little job. Plumbing in a washing machine after my old one flooded the kitchen. I would recommend James as a efficient and tidy worker.
