We are a unique architectural team, led by award-winning RIBA Chartered Architect John Bridge. The studio mixes innovation with experience and enthusiasm. We are firmly rooted in Preston in the North West, with strong partnerships across the United Kingdom. Our home in Preston is more than just our base of operations.
Residential architecture is at the heart of what we do. Having worked for a number of years on residential dwellings, Studio John Bridge make the most out of your brief, thinking outside of the box every time. Residential architecture can incorporate existing buildings, or start from scratch, creating a building you would love and aspire to live in.
Our passion for Regeneration architecture stems from our empathy for vacant and unused spaces or buildings. It is with strong internal motivation and imagination that drives us to reignite and restore. The idea is to incorporate new exciting uses that reinvigorate the space or building. This can include restoration and repair with aspects of conservation in listed buildings too.

We commissioned John to design an extension for us and he was first class throughout. We met a few architects and John really stood out. He was very approachable and very knowledgeable. He made it a very easy process and he completely understood what we wanted to do. He came up with ideas that we had never thought of and the service could not have been better. We would not hesitate to recommend him and we would certainly go back to him again for assistance.

John and his team provided an excellent service when developing / extending our property. John transformed our many ideas into reality, he also took the stress out of obtaining the appropriate planning permissions. John’s enthusiasm was reflected in the A***** service we received! If you are looking for a young architect who is passionate about his craft... then John Bridge is the man to head to. I've worked with him on two projects in the last year with a third in the pipeline. John listens to a clients wishes and then designs accordingly, a rare feature in the world of architecture. John transformed our holiday house in Spain to a perfect family home! He was so passionate about the project and managed to accommodate all our needs, listening to all the personalised detail we needed and also added his own flare and imagination to the project! Working with the Spanish authorities, architects and builders on our behalf he made it a care free experience! Can’t wait to get back out there and enjoy!
