Services
Mellor Architects' work includes projects in the commercial, retail, healthcare, education, leisure, ecclesiastical and residential housing sectors. We also undertake commissions for private residential clients from in including conversions and renovations to extensions and new builds varying in size and value from 50,000.00 upwards.
The new facility, representing a capital investment of 10m, is fully integrated with the previous phases on the overall site and almost doubles the existing storage capacity. The Waterfront Gateway is a managed office premises and the first plot to be constructed on the business park, a new development on a brownfield site at Barrow-in-Furness.
Our work includes extensions and modifications to existing facilities through to complete new build practices, health centres and pharmacies. The Mary Hewetson Cottage Hospital provides vital locally based healthcare facilities to Keswick and the surrounding rural areas. The project was complex and carried out over eight phases due to the need for the Department to remain fully operational throughout the construction period.
Mellor Architects work with individual clients and property developers on single new build properties, extensions and conversions to masterplanning large developments and social housing. A project close to home for Mellor Architects, our client on this occasion being a young and expanding family. Mellor Architects were commissioned to act as architects for the conversion of Axwell Hall, a Grade 2 listed building close to Blaydon-on-Tyne.
