Services
We have compiled a list of tree operations that may be carried out to improve the health, form and longevity of your trees. Each title includes a brief description of the process (based on the text contained within British Standard 3998 (2010) tree work recommendations) and is followed by useful information about how the risk posed by a tree in an urban environment may be mitigated by the correct implementation of these measures.
My focus is now and always has been on offering the best possible service to our select customer base. Our clients are generally discerning and knowledgeable and prefer a professional, problem free and pro-active approach taken on their behalf to suit the specific tree management requirements of their garden, site or organization.
We are very proud to share that all our team (including our office coordinator) are engaged in training or have completed their International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist certification. We have committed to train our team using this internationally recognised qualification to make choosing arborists that are knowledgeable and that you can trust, easy!
All operatives are NPTC qualified for the tasks they undertake and carry CSCS cards where appropriate. ACME ARB is committed to protecting the natural environment. We try to have as little impact as possible on the surrounding landscape and minimise disturbance to the wildlife and their habitat. We always give advice for the best practice of pruning trees for their long term health and appearance.
If you think "CORGI" for plumbers, think "AAAC" for trees. The ARB Approved Contractor scheme offers a recognised benchmark for arboricultural contracting throughout the UK and Ireland and is increasingly required by Local Authorities and other large commercial organisations. ARB Approved Contractor is also of benefit in the domestic sector as a quality mark assuring the client of good quality tree care undertaken safely and efficiently.

We had a monkey puzzle that had grown to large for the property, that Acme assessed for us when we first moved in. They have just completed removal of the tree, stump grinding and pruning a hedgerow of hawthorns, holly and hazels. Highly recommend ACME ARB
They came out to quote for work to be completed at 2 different sites. The quotes were very competitive compared to others we received.
The work completed was done to a very high standard & both sites were left spotless. We had large hedges, bushes & a very large Ivy cut back & problem trees poisoned.
The men that came out also offered advice about other trees & plants that i had asked about. They were also very friendly & polite.

What a worker - one of the hotter days and he only stopped for a mug of tea. I'm getting them back to grind out the stumps of an old hedge now they've made mincemeat of all the tops. Would definitey recommend to anyone.
The team have now been back a couple of times to grind out old hedge roots and remove the roots of an ash tree and dozens of hefty, vigorous laurel bushes. Great work, efficient, tidy and took care of an old stone field wall. Thanks guys, what you've done means I can now create a nice garden, including wild spaces, around our flats.

Very friendly and professional, would highly recommend ACEM ARB. They took down a mature Ash tree (Ash die-back, very sad) that was at the bottom of our garden but the best access was from via our elderly neighbours property, could not have been happier about how the team conducted themselves and made sure everything was left neat and tidy.
