Gloaming Tree Surgery are Tree Surgeons in Doncaster. We also cover Rotherham, Barnsley, Worksop and all surrounding areas. We were formed in 2010 by Director and Consulting Arborist James Dyson BSc (Hons) Cert Arb (RFS) PTI. James has worked in the environmental sector for over ten years. In 2005 he graduated from Harper Adams University with a BSc (Hons) Countryside and Environmental Management.

James is accredited by the Arboricultural Association in Professional Tree Inspection and holds the Royal Forestry Society Certificate of Arboriculture. All Gloaming Tree Surgery staff share James' passion for trees and the natural environment.

All staff carry a wide range of environmental qualifications and are all NPTC Tree Work Operations qualified to the highest standard to ensure that work is carried out safely, efficiently and in accordance with industry best practice.Gloaming Tree Surgery are covered by 5m Public liability Insurance and 10m Employers liability Insurance.

What a lovely bunch of lads. polite ,helpful and nothing too much trouble. Had alot of clear out to do, trees,ivy and holly taken down and stumps removed. large row of conifers topped and cut back all In a day. Would recommend!

I was asked to post a review on here for Gloaming, but I didn't need to be asked because I would gladly have done so anyway. The three guys who attended my house to remove a rather over-sized pine tree were professional and friendly. Right from the start of my enquiry, the appointment was dealt with in a competent and reliable way. On the day, the guys arrived in time and carried out the work extremely efficiently. They worked tidily and neatly, which left me feeling more than satisfied with their work. They 'go the extra mile' and I would not hesitate AT ALL to recommend them. Many thanks.

Great communication, good knowledge giving confidence for what was a competitively priced, well executed job. The teamwork and efficiency of the men was fantastic, from managing the local traffic to cleaning up to a high standard, I can't fault the service I had, the trimming and shaping of my three trees is perfect. Had 2 hedges and a very large tree took down in January. We were extremely happy with their work and how they left our garden. Very reasonably priced, all stumps were grindered out, and our garden was left very tidy, we would highly recommend!

Amazing service at reasonable price. Had tried lots of others but they all let us down, either misquoting and then trying to get more money or just not turning up. It’s always a pleasure to have the guys from Gloaming in the garden. Trees and hedging ‘spruced’ up today and ready for the winter. In these unprecedented times, it’s comforting to have the professionals looking after the greenery. James and his team are exceptionally competent and thorough. We used Gloaming to tend to a large Italian cypress tree at the front of the house we wanted significantly reducing in height, a very large leylandii hedge, and a large Cedar Tree to the rear also requiring significant reduction. We also had a large conifer removed and are delighted with James and his team's work.
We wouldn't hesitate to use them again thanks to their efficiency, quality of work, reasonable price, and they cleaned up after!

We would recommend Gloaming tree Surgery without hesitation. The trees were pruned with care and attention to detail - they weren't simply chopped! The trees look great and we are sure that they will benefit enormously from the work carried out by James and his team. Highly recommend Gloaming Tree Services.
Had one big Scots Pine in a small garden spanning 2 properties (one with conservatory beneath) that required felling. Worked tirelessly to remove the tree and were very friendly, efficient and took utmost care when considering the delicate task of removing the tree and its proximity to our property and next doors.
Very pleased with the team for the work they did! Would recommend to anybody.
