Andy started Arborist Tree Care in 2006, after working as a tree surgeon for Sheffield City Council. Andy started with just a few pieces of equipment and a lot of determination and drive. He's worked very hard to develop the company to what it is today, a really strong, focussed team of Arborist's caring for Sheffield's trees!

A fantastic experience using this company. We had several tree surgeons provide quotes. Andy from Arborist was the most thorough and detailed in the breakdown of cost for the various aspects of this large job ( Taking down 21 large / dead Leylandii, chipping and removal, stump grinding out the roots. Reducing the remaining large row of healthy trees etc).
The team who completed the work were professional and friendly. The equipment that they used was very impressive - massive chipping machine and tracked stump grinder easily coped with the task. The whole crew were efficient and professional.

Fantastic team, very friendly and explained exactly what they were doing. Cut down my the trees to exactly the height I required, and removed all waste in full. Approachable and very professional, and also provided the best price by quotation for the work out of 5 organizations approached. 10 out of 10, highly recommended.

I met Andy Harvey a few years ago when looking for some tree surgery, I compared his quotes with 'gardeners' his quote was favourable so decided to go with the specialist. I have never regretted it. I no longer compare quotes as I know I am getting really good work. The men that come are always polite, tidy and efficient. It doesn't matter if you are just like me an amateur gardener or a professional one their work is just as good.

This is the second time we had work done on our trees in the garden. We found everyone to be courteous, professional and helpful and they did a great job. My wife and I would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely company, who took down and ground out the roots of a very large conifer in our garden. From the initial assessment visit by Andy, through to the actual day of the work they were nothing but professional, courteous and good humoured. Vicky in the office does a brilliant job of… co-ordinating the work and kept us abreast of developments along the way (thank you). Really impressed with the precision and skill these guys reduced the crown of a prominent Beech tree over a very busy junction. How the reduction was done was clearly very important to them to ensure the on-going health and appearance of the tree but also to enhance its setting and surrounding area. They really know what they are talking about. They managed to reduce the tree over one of the busiest junction in Sheffield (rather them than me!) with safety of paramount importance. Very professional outfit and great to see the whole team working together to get the job done. Place left spotless afterwards
