The project comprised the conversion, alteration, extension and partial demolition of an existing mixed commercial/flatted stone property to provide four 1 bed houses, one 1 bed & one 2 bed flats. Conversion works included major stonework slappings, ground/first floor and roof replacement, and block work party walls.
Conversion of an existing derelict Church into a beautiful and bright home. A mezzanine floor was created above the window line as not to create any obstruction to views or design, this area provided a living space and a master bedroom. New windows were manufactured specially and installed in the existing openings.
This project involved the conversion of an existing derelict lighthouse on the Caledonian Canal into two holiday let units. The building is a Grade B Listed Building. As per Historic Scotland's guidelines, as much of the existing property as possible was overhauled and restored to its original state to maintain the integrity of what it once was.
Refurbishment of an existing brick, stone and slate one, two and three storey buildings compromising main house, summerhouse and outbuildings together with associated site development and servicing works. The property is within the National Trust for Scotlands Inverewe Gardens and bodes a very interesting history.

We employed Simpson on a large 6 bedroom new build. Their price was very competitive compared to the other bidders, but their competence and level of service was beyond expectations. We had a few challenges as might be expected on a project of this size, all due to third parties, and the way Simpson handled these and shielded us from most of the stress in sorting these out was exemplary. I honestly couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Simpson Builders are a local building company who take on small projects to full house builds. They did a small groundwork's project for myself laying a large shed foundation and building in retaining walls in my garden. The works were carried out fast and efficiently and i would highly recommend this company for all aspects of builder works.

A company whom apparently prides itself on customer service but refuses to complete a floor nor vist their client to review and assess for next steps. Apparently their employees attend multiple holidays can’t answer the phone and in reality complete works not fit for purpose nor address their errors!! Usless and shoddy
