Mortice & Green is comprised of highly skilled professional sash window repair experts, all with vast amounts of experience working with traditional wooden sash windows. We are able to provide not only high quality work but also excellent one on one customer care. We have a small independent workshop just outside of London that enables us to produce the best quality hardwood sash windows at very reasonable prices.
Double glazed sash windows are a very important part of the modern home for both insulation and comfort, it can be a mine field however if you live in a conservation area. With many sash window companies providing factory run standard windows that will not meet the conservation officers approval it could be a very expensive mistake to make as you could be forced into doing the whole job over to meet the required standards.
If your home has single glazed sash windows, you may have already noticed that your rooms feel hotter in summer and colder in winter. Aside from the room temperature, noise pollution can also easily enter the home and the glass can be broken with one single knock. Due to these problems, many homeowners opt for double glazed sash windows rather than single glazed ones.
All the windows we produce are handcrafted to ensure they are exact reproductions of the windows that they will replace, perfect for conservation areas! I had all my sash windows, window box frames & external doors repaired, repainted and in the case of the sash windows draught proofed as well.
Mortice and Green were very professional and approachable in all aspects of the work from the initial quote through to completion and in dealing with snagging issues.

Couldn't recommend these guys more highly! They were the first company I called to replace a window and after coming out to assess the job within hours of my first call I knew I didn't need to get any other quotes. Remained very responsive right through until the job was due to be done, then on the day they did a fantastic job going above and beyond to ensure we were happy upon completion.

Had 3 slimline wooden sash windows installed and very happy with the all round service. Did a lot of shopping around for quotes and M&G were very fairly priced. Very happy with the finished product, and the guys who fitted the windows were very professional - quick and didn't leave any mess in the house when finished. Would highly recommend.

Excellent service Windows overhauled and fixed to very high standard. Would definitely recommend this business to everyone wishing to make repairs to their windows. Cannot recommend them highly enough. They recently replaced all of the sash windows at our new home. From the quoting, booking and payment the service was impeccable. The job was booked in and completed ahead of time and was very reasonably priced (especially compared to other companies we looked at using). The workmen also fully cleaned up after themselves leaving very little to no mess or dust in the rooms. We also used them to fit out a small home office and fitted under-stair storage, and we are equally impressed and happy with the quality of the finish provided on that work too. Excellent
