John was efficient and transparent with the survey and quote, and also very flexible about timings. Daniel and his team were polite and careful, putting down dust sheets and cleaning up perfectly when they had finished. They did a fantastic job restoring some over-sized sashes in a Victorian school building and I'm very happy with the results - no draughts and better soundproofing. If you need your sash windows sorting, I would recommend you use John and his team.

Thorough and excellent work. We had three large stuck and ancient box sashes with leaded weights refurbished - new locks, sash lifts, parting beads, sash cords and all three sliding freely again - and two cheaper spring sash windows fixing where the springs had gone. Cheaper than getting these windows replaced and really satisfying to see the old windows come back to life. John was a pleasure to deal with and meticulous in quoting for the various possibilities to generate a good idea of likely cost. Jon's workers were professional and polite. The job was done as quick as possible and they left the house spotless. The windows are now fully functioning and look good as new.

John and his team did an excellent job and I would highly recommend them. All the team I dealt with were very professional and clearly communicated the different options and any potential issues (although in my case there were none) from quote through to completion of the job.
I live in a conservation zone so John's team doing a repair, draft-proofing and repainting of my sash windows was a fraction of the cost of getting custom made new ones. It is like having new windows!

The whole team was brilliant - from John acting on our brief, to Daniel coming round - on time - to assess our windows - to a prompt estimate from John of what really needed doing and its likely cost - to the 'guys doing the hard work' coming round and doing it. A bit of a mess during the work - as would be expected - but all cleared up perfectly - and nods and smiles if no long conversations over tea and coffee.

Having recently moved to London my husband and I are delighted with our new home. The problem of course is that it isn't new but in fact a Victorian property. The property is in a good state of repair, however, the sash windows needed some work and urgently.
