I instructed Hallas and Co. Ltd to carry out a defect report on my roof, which had been leaking for months and I had many roofing companies to try find the cause. Hallas and Co Ltd inspected the roof and found the problem. I am very happy with the service and the informative report I received, I would highly recommend them.

Perhaps mine is an isolated case that slipped through the cracks but I was not impressed by the service I had (or lack of it). I contacted Hallas & Co very early on Tuesday morning regarding an ongoing problem with water ingress into a block of flats. This was getting quite urgent. I had a prompt reply and was told that my correspondence was passed to the surveyor and I would be contacted shortly.
I also wrote to another firm who responded immediately with the required information.
I decided to wait for Hallas to respond as they were my first choice but when nothing happened by late Friday afternoon

Hallas & Co. carried out an independent survey on a terraced house my wife and I had made an offer on. The detailed survey revealed structural damage to the roof and multiple other building problems that would have run into the thousands to fix. With the professional knowledge and support of Hallas & Co. we were able to avoid what could have turned into a very costly and regrettable purchase. Hallas & Co. come highly recommended.

Hallas & Co did our party wall agreements either side for our recent extension. I was totally clueless in advance and found Jon to be very helpful and pleasant. He was organised and professional and if I were to be planning further building work (which I’m seriously hoping not to be doing!) I would without question hire him again.
