Dobson & Poole was established at Crystal Palace SE19 in 1988 and relocated to Bromley in 2008. We pride ourselves on giving a fully independent, personal and professional service to our clients. Martin Dobson was one of the founding partners, Steve Laurie joined the company in 2002 and Deren Huseyin joined the team in 2018.

Dobson & Poole act on behalf of both Landlords and Lessees with respect to dilapidations claims and we provide support and negotiation for commercial and residential properties. The law of dilapidations is a complex field where statute case law and professional practice are constantly evolving the way in which repairing covenants in leases are interpreted and drafted.
Our experienced Chartered Building Surveyors are often called upon to act as Expert Witnesses in litigation cases concerning building-related disputes. We are fully acquainted with the Civil Procedure Rules and Codes of Conduct laid down by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors which govern the manner in which surveyors present their reports and give evidence in Court.

Deren has always provided excellent service. When we bought our first home, we used Deren to conduct our survey. He was very thorough in his report with a very quick turn around. Excellent experience of using Dobson and Poole. Deren oversaw the 8-month long re-instatement of the basement in my flat following a flood. He gave excellent advice, employed excellent contractors for the building work which was of a very high standard and was responsive, supportive in dealing with the insurance company and very thorough in his approach. Cannot recommend highly enough!
