In 1996 the government passed a law that requires all landlords, who rent either part or all of a property, to have all household gas appliances and pipes checked every 12 months with a Landlord gas safety certificate to this effect. Very helpful when I met him and good ideas for upgrading the Village Hall heating. Unfortunately thats where it ended. After eight weeks and four phone calls I still didn't have a quote and I needed it for a meeting. I assumed he couldn't be bothered to quote. Wouldn't ask him again, its a shame because he seemed interested.
