DP Doors & Shutters Folding Shutter Doors are hard to match for a strong, rubust door. The proportional movement of the door, controlled by a pantograph system, provides a design which is tough and yet smooth and easy to operate and which will tolerate the most extreme weather conditions. The top hung, single or double units stack neatly to the side of the opening and occupy very little headroom.
Our Fire Curtain is a compact fully automatic motorised roller system with a high temperature stainless steel reinforced curtain, tested up to 1000°c, concealed in a strong steel casing above the doorway or opening. It remains hidden but ready to work - in the event of a fire. It is easy for a competent person to install and the first and only 'plug and play' system.
We are delighted to tell you that DP Doors & Shutters Ltd has been awarded the coveted Door & Hardware Federation Quality Mark for repair and maintenance of metal doors and shutters. The scheme was introduced by the DHF to significantly raise standards throughout the industry. You may have read about it already in the trade press.
It is now a legal requirement in accordance with the Machinery Directive, European Standard EN12341 to 1:2003, that all power operated and automatic doors must be subject to a controlled, regular maintenance and service procedure with emphasis on the safety features such as bottom safe edges and safety beams.

We had an emergency earlier today our shutter went down at Olive Opticians Chapeltown. The company we bought the shutters from were no help at all. As an emergency I googled for a local company and found Christian on the other side of the phone. He was most helpful and sorted us out as soon as possible. We are all very grateful. Great service, happy to help and peace of mind offered. Thank you all for a great experience from all the staff at Olive Opticians.
