Services
We make every effort to ensure that all our doors and raw lumber suppliers claim they purchase from Managed Forest sources and we especially support those where replanting programs are employed. Some species of timber have a restricted cutting allocation per annum and it is therefore possible that we may offer a product in an alternative timber which you would really prefer.
Over 90% of our deliveries are done by our one delivery company. We do this so we can supply you with a more prompt delivery service where most other door suppliers can have lead times up to 2 weeks. Bulk orders are usually done via our own transport. When you receive your order and before you sign the acceptance for the doors you must inspect the outer packing for any external damage.
We invite you to select your door and to place your order through the website using the Order Form, or alternatively, call us on 01246 417070. We do not ask for payment at this stage as we shall call you at the contact number you supply to confirm the order details, availability, delivery arrangements and payment.

Great service from Carl and the team.
After a bad experience followed by a six week battle to get a refund at another supplier, I gritted my teeth, spoke to Ideal and placed an order with them. I needn't have worried, the door arrived promptly 5 days later, a full 3 days before the quoted delivery date.
Unfortunately the door was damaged in transit by the carrier. So email sent off asking for a replacement. After my recent experience I was fearing that I would again be battling for weeks to even get reply, never mind a replacement, but no, 3 days later the replacement was delivered directly by

I could not be more impressed with the service I have always recieved from Carl and John at Ideal Doors. I have used them a number of times over the last 5 years, and they always go above and beyond to help, whether I have been spending £100 or £1000. We had a very small issue recently, something that was entirely out of their control, however again, they were incredibly proactive to resolve things, and I couldn't be happier with how they have looked after me. They could have stubborn if they wanted to, but instead they went the extra mile.

The door we bought was great, as was the knowledge of the staff and the speed of service but that's where it ends. The two men we dealt with were nothing short of rude and patronising. It made for an uncomfortable experience. Customer service seems to have passed them by. Also, the office stunk of cigarette smoke (illegal in a workplace?). Won't be going back

I ordered eight internal oak doors from Ideal Doors based in Dronfield. I found the company online and called them directly to place my order. The staff were very knowledeable and and processed my order very efficiently. Thank you very much for all your help, our new doors have finished our house perfectly!
