A1 Boilers is an independent company, established in 2001. All our engineers are Gas Safe registered and fully qualified. We pride ourselves on our professionalism and reliability, providing unbiased advice and always trying to accommodate our customers' individual needs and requirements. Based in Highams Park, London E4, we operate across North & East London and the close-by areas of Essex, Middlesex and Hertfordshire.

We are Ariston Specialists and also work with all major boiler brands, including Vaillant, Worcester Bosch, Ideal Logic, Baxi, Biasi, Gloworm, Potterton. As Ariston Specialist, we stock a comprehensive range of spare parts for all Ariston boilers and hot water storage cylinders. Our years of experience of working with Ariston means our expertise and in-depth knowledge of all Ariston products and components (both current and discontinued) is second to none.

Charges Report

There is a minimum charge of 1 hour on all jobs (90), and thereafter, labour is charged in 15 minute increments at the cost of 20 per quarter of an hour. All parts and materials supplied by A1 Boilers are charged in addition to labour costs (see 'Hourly Rates' above). There is a 30 certification fee, in addition to our normal labour charges, for each Safety Certificate (CP12) issued.

Safety Certificates Report

By law, under the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998, it is a Landlord's responsibility to get a Gas Safety Certificate (CP12) every twelve months. You must get this from a Gas Safe Registered engineer for all pipe work, gas appliances and flues installed at your property.

Simon has been servicing our boiler for a couple of years now. Price point is excellent compared to other companies. Simon gives a great service and is friendly and reliable. Especially pleased after his last visit as he has fixed our water pressure issue. Have recommended to neighbours who are also extremely pleased with the service they have received. We intend to carry on using A1 Boilers for years to come.

A1 Boilers have been doing the annual service for several years on our Chaffoteaux & Maury Combi boiler. Their engineer, Simon Cullum, is always easy to contact, turns up on time, services the boiler efficiently and has always been able to fix the occasional problems we've had with it. He's friendly and trustworthy. I would recommend A1 Boilers.

I was given Simon of A1 Boilers’ telephone number by the manufacturer Ariston who told me he does work for them.That has to be a good recommendation in itself. My Ariston combi-boiler had been firing up for no reason when water wasn’t flowing. Simon warned about a problem with the boiler being too close to a wall, preventing the removal of a side panel. Fortunately he overcame that difficulty, fixed the boiler, and gave it a service, all within an hour. All-in-all, an excellent job at an excellent price. Simon will be the first engineer I’ll call to service, repair or fix a new boiler.

I've used A1 boilers a couple of times and I've found them to be prompt, reliable and professional. I have an Ariston water cylinder and they tracked down a fault that eluded other engineers. Would happily recommend and use again.

I don't know any Gas engineers personally so its always a bit of a gamble but Simon from A1 seems honest and very professionsal. Cost was good(on this occasion) compared to Aristons one off charge and Simon gave me some good advice as well in terms of some boiler related electrical work I need done. Hoping I've now found a company I can use for boiler type issues and if an issue crops up will definitely be using them again.

A good solid service at a reasonable price. Simon, clearly told me what he was doing and why he was doing it. So I feel happy and safe in the knowledge he isn't conning me with mumbo jumbo or ripping me off with parts I don't need.
I have used he for years and would strongly recommend him to anyone.
