Our most recent project was to take an existing single storey extension in Cambridgeshire and build it into a two-storey extension. The new extension was also to expand out by approximately two metres at the rear.
This meant removal of the existing roof and rear wall, extending the foundations and building the new extension as designed by the architect. The extension was built with blocks and bricks to match existing walls, block and beam sub-floor and a hand-cut, pitched, timber roof.

Our latest project is the conversion of an old commercial kitchen into a working day nursery. The project involved stripping the existing unit of all fixtures and fittings related to the commercial kitchen and completely renovating the interior with installation of entirely new electrics and plumbing, re-plastered and decorated surfaces and installation of new fire rated oak veneer doors with large glass viewings.

The team at Ashton worked on a large job building first floor showers and changing rooms for my gym along with other structural, electrical and carpentry jobs. They were very professional from start to finish. They provided a timely quote which was competitive and the work was completed on time and to a high standard. 3 years later we have had no major issues relating to their work and the odd minor issue that has arisen over that time (which is to be expected) was swiftly fixed.
