We have many years' experience in the design, installation and commissioning of gas, oil, or biomass fired steam boilers. Heritage Boiler Services include repairs and rebuilds of traction engines, locomotive boilers and shell boilers.
We also manufacture "vintage" fireboxes and undertake large presswork projects. Services
Over 40 years of operating from our Farling Top Works, we have undertaken a huge range of both industrial and heritage projects. From the design, build and installation of modern industrial boilers to the complete restoration of numerous Traction Engine, Steam Roller, Steam Tractor, Steam Boat and Vintage Shell Boilers.
We carry out a wide range of structural boiler repairs, including combustion chamber tubeplate and tube end defects, smokebox repairs, new front and rear smokebox doors and refractory replacement and repairs. We carry out either full or part industrial boiler re-tubes using J-prepping equipment for the removal of existing tube end welds or to prep for the new seal welds.
