If your drains become blocked or damaged it is important they are professionally cleared or replaced as soon as possible, because a poor drainage system can lead to problems such as smells and flooding. Drainscan can carry out drain replacement following a professionally carried out survey where the defective drainage system is replaced and a new drainage system is installed.
We use the latest C.C.T.V. inspection camera systems to determine the condition of the drainage system. These provide benefits such as being able to pinpoint defects that have recently caused a blockage but we also use drain cameras as a planned maintenance tool for monitoring the sewer network as well as commercial and industrial drainage systems.
Drainscan Ltd provides blocked gully cleaning using an extremely fast and efficient method to remove blockages. The jetting equipment attached to our vehicles uses water under high pressure to clear the blockage from the gully effectively in the same way we carry out our drain cleaning service. To keep your septic tank or cesspit working exactly as it should and without the disruption caused by blockages and overflows, you need to empty it frequently. The frequency with which you need to empty your tank and cesspit depends on the size and type of your tank and the number of occupants living at your property, but we recommend you empty it at least every six to twelve months to remove the build up of sludge/slurry (Effluent Waste).

Was quoted £223 for video of drains with full report and images. Engineer very competent and helpful. When called to pay told the engineer had been on site for over 2 hours so as charge was an hourly rate cost would be £360! I explained no-one had told me it was based on time but no-one at Drainscan listened. At no point did anyone say I'm sorry about the confusion - no apology just a tirade about what I owed! I also suggested they should in future send an email or text to anyone they quote to avoid confusion and explain payment system. Again no response to that - just did not listen to me as
