At Power a door we do not have a full time salesman but have a trusted client base predominantly built up through years of recommendations.
The sliding door operator is the solution that gives the most usable space around the entrance due to the lack of a swinging door. They are more reliable as there is no wear and tear on a hinge and less abuse as the doors are retracted across a wall or screen. The Bi-parting sliding doors operator is the most traditional type with two sections of the door called "leaves" opening in opposite directions at the same time.
The Telescopic sliding door has the advantages of the bi-parting or single sliding operator but also has a wide threshold allowing maximum opening with minimum space. Telescopic doors open faster and open and shut quietly. The Telescopic sliding door operator is the ideal solution to any large entrance requirements as it brings the added advantage of maximising foot flow and ensuring that passageways are not congested.
Swing door operators are advantageous for automating new or existing swing doors to buildings to give access to able bodied and less-abled people while keeping the original fabric of the building in place. This is ideal for listed or preservation-order effected areas. This operator also lends itself to the automation of fire doors which can be heavy and difficult to open for some users.
Should your existing automatic door operator fail at Power-a-Door we have service technicians who will carry out an efficient diagnosis of the existing door gear and will provide a quote to carry out the repair. Most repairs can be carried out during that first visit but inevitably parts will fail over time and may have to be ordered.
