This is an exclusive boutique hotel with breathtaking views over Lake Windermere. Our brief was to transform the old manager's flat into a romantic suite. Minor structural work was required to divide the space, create showering and bathing for two, and a low luxurious deck bed with feature leather headboard.
Cedar Manor aspire to provide uniquely individual surroundings in which to cosset their guests. We were privileged to bring to fruition their desire for luxury, elegance and tranquility whilst using sustainable and environmentally friendly materials. With innovative technology we created a multifunction space with flexibility for exclusive private dining for larger parties or conferencing.
Keswick YHA needed a major overhaul of all areas to allow for the new DDA requirements, new brasserie restaurant, reception, washing facilities, family bedrooms and anti-allergy bedrooms. We produced a radical new interior concept specifically aimed at bringing back the 18-30 age range with fresh and funky designs.
This fantastic setting of nine holiday apartments in converted barns and cottages was in need of a refreshing makeover. Our client wanted to market them using strong links to Cumbrian designer/makers and embellishing with local products. Neither 'cottage twee' nor 'sterile minimal' but a style successfully sitting comfortably in between.
Our client, originally from Cumbria, was keen to have a comfortable residence for family and friends to use during the weekends and holidays. In a bid to reduce their carbon footprint and trips abroad, the house needed to be 'really special' to encourage regular use - bright, zesty and child friendly.
