We are experienced in the repair of a range of Kenwood mixers from the earlier A701, right through to the modern KMs. Kenwood Chefs are amongst the most durable, robust and well designed machines we have seen with many still going strong after nearly 50 years. No power/jerky low speed operation or a bang accompanied by smoke billowing out of the machine.
Certain models of Samsung American fridge freezer develop particular faults in the fridge compartment. These include icing up of the back wall, not getting cold enough and making a grating sound which stops when the fridge door is opened. These problems are caused by failure of one or more of a small group of components behind the inner back wall of the fridge section.
NB Most repairs will be completed between 30 minutes to one hour and therefore, as a rule, the total labour charge (the sum of Call Out and Labour - see below) will be 35 - 45 (or more depending on your location - please see Call Out). I was given an appointment 6 days hence for between 14.00 and 152.00 and to switch off appliance fridge freezer 48 hours before appointment. and at 14.15 on the day I was informed by phone that I lived too far away despite being only 30 mins from ripon. Having taken the day off work I was not pleased. As it happens I have repaired the item myself.

Derek, the head engineer at Ripon Rpairs is first rate,,,, here's a copy of the review i left on another site,, no point in re-typing...
My American style whirlpool fridge freezer stopped working,,, texted Ripon Repairs, they called back first thing, turned-up on time,,, pulled the blasted freezer to pieces,,, checked all peripheral components,,, eventually confirmed it was, alas, the Printed circuit board (PCB).... I showed them a report found on the web that replacing a £10 relay might fix the problem,,, although it was well and truly soldered to the board,,,, Derek agreed to replace it and
