Floorspan Contracts are a precast concrete manufacturer based in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire. Decades ago, we began our life as block and beam floor suppliers, and we have grown into one of the largest suspended concrete flooring specialists in the region. Our customers benefit from a precast company serviced by a six-acre production facility, a large fleet of specialist vehicles, and an expert team of technical and support staff.
We have developed a range of products, meaning we can always offer a more suitable solution than an organisation that only provides a limited selection. It may be that the most cost-effective way of satisfying load/span conditions would be to use a mixture of light and standard beam. If this is the case, our designers take this into account when proposing a plan for your project.
Block and beam flooring has become an increasingly popular choice when it comes to floor structures. This is particularly true of residential properties. Suspended concrete floors do not creak, shrink, or bounce. They are relatively easy to install and provide a safe working platform for the rest of the build.
Floorspan Contracts can supply and install precast reinforced concrete staircases and landings to ensure you receive a complete package for your upper floors. We have designed our concrete staircases with detail in mind, making their installation a straightforward process. Our inclusion of 'cast in' recessed lifting eyes to improve their ease of handling for installation is just one of the small details that can make a big difference.
It combines our 25kg per linear metre 'Light' beams with underslung slab, expanded polystyrene panels to create a lightweight and thermally efficient flooring solution. It combines our full range of beams with polystyrene infill panels and a variable-depth oversheet (top sheet). This polystyrene top sheet product is thermally efficient, easy to install and cost-effective.

We have completed one property and are now working on the second using beams supplied by Floorspan. During the first build we made some design changes which affected the beam layout and Jill Artis was a great support throughout reviewing the changes, amending the design and providing the technical advice and direction to help us move forwards. Communication has been truly outstanding throughout.
For the second build we have made further changes and again Jill has been a big help in coordinating the beams already produced and identifying

Top Service! From beginning to end Floorspan were fantastic.
From the initial contact with the sales staff who were very helpful, giving call backs to check we were happy. They kept up informed on dates of delivery too. The drawings were done swiftly and any minor adjustments ironed out straight away.
We had supply only on the GF beams but install on the top floor. They surveyed the site pre install, taking a lot of time to ensure it was all correct and I've never seen lads work like they did on that floor, my builder was in awe! Very professional and efficient.
