I contacted Dovedale and met with Mostyn. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. I also booked 2 other damp experts to look at a small area of damp. Dovedale identified the problem straight away and that it was In fact not raising damp but condensation. He informed me how he would sort the problem without cost. The other 2 builders had no idea what the problem was but was happy to inject the wall saying it might not help but we will see in 6 to 8 weeks?? At a cost of £600. With Mostyn obvious experience and equipment at hand he was able to diagnosed our problems and thoroughly explained how to

We bought a coastal bolt hole 18 months ago and have fought a losing battle with damp all the way. We contacted Dovedale, met with Mostyn - very knowledgeable, friendly, courteous and helpful. He listened patiently while we explaned the saga so far then with his experience diagnosed our problems and thoroughly explained how to overcome them effectively and with minimal cost. Came to my home and gave out many lies to sell the product. I had problems in the kitchen due to not having an extractor fan. They said it was because of the humidity level in my home being too high. This was completely rubbish. Dampcure Services said the avarage moisture level in a home is %30. The real level is in-between 30 to 60 while other experts say 40 to 70. Dampcure's don't sell kitchen extractor fans so they tried to sell me their own product. They even said that high moisture in the air could damage the plaster in my walls. Dovedale Dampcure have helped me to solve the issue of some damp caused by condensation in my dinning room.
